What is included in an architectural photography session?
Each session includes project consultation and assessment, scouting to provide preliminary review images, shooting sessions with light systems designed to emphasize the natural light of the space and / or the practical light design; one photographer plus one assistant (if necessary); and session durations that fit the scope of the project and image and video specifics.
How long does a typical shoot take?
This really depends on how large the space is and what your particular requirements are around images and video. For instance, a 5-image interior design shoot in a single space could roughly take half a day (4 hours). For a luxury apartment development with multiple spaces this could take anywhere from 2 - 5 days depending on the amount of images and video desired.
Do you provide staging advice?
Yes, I provide guidance on preparing spaces for photography, including lighting, decluttering, and styling tips to ensure your property looks its absolute best.
What areas do you serve?
I serve the entire San Francisco Bay Area, including San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, San Jose, Palo Alto, and surrounding communities. Travel fees may apply for locations beyond 30 miles from Berkeley.
Can you photograph occupied properties?
Absolutely. I work efficiently and respectfully in occupied spaces, coordinating with tenants and property managers to minimize disruption while capturing beautiful images.
